GREEN ENERGY
The care of the environment and an increasingly sustainable economic and industrial policy have made green certificates an indispensable incentive for the production of electricity from renewable sources; specifically green certificates are negotiable certificates issued by the Manager of Energy Services to producers and distributors depending on the energy produced through the use of systems with IAFR qualification, powered by renewable sources.
PHOTOVOLTAIC
Renewable, clean, inexhaustible: the primary energy source for the entire planet is the sun, a zero-impact natural resource, thanks to which a huge amount of available energy is released, given that the sun is an unlimited resource.
The photovoltaic system allows our company to cover independently at least 60% of its energy needs, and in this way the photovoltaic system can make itself independent from the national energy distribution system.
SUSTAINABILITY
The care of the environment is now an essential component for the sustainability of a company and for the long-term growth of the entire Country System. We have set ourselves specific environmental impact targets, including the adoption of eco-friendly strategies and measures, such as reducing energy consumption, separate collection and waste recycling. This process towards a more sustainable approach may include several initiatives::
- using renewable energy: to reduce to a minimum the environmental impact we used renewable energy sources;
- reducing environmental impact: along with decreasing in CO2 emissions, we have adopted other methods to reduce the company’s impact on the environment. For example, we have minimized water consumption, properly disposed of company waste, used recycled materials and required environmental certifications attesting the sustainability of the raw materials used;
- circular solutions: the company has introduced some models which encourage the recovery, recycling and reuse of products;
- integrating sustainable mobility: by adopting sustainable mobility, the company has significantly reduced its polluting emissions;
- responsible consumption of natural resources: thanks to specific investments towards efficiency and sustainability of production processes.
GELATIN RECOVERY
Animal by-products represent a significant part of the organic waste stream and disposal methods are limited and highly regulated.
Our company, through the use of organic substances with low economic value, contributes to improve the industrial process with less energy consumption and better end product properties.
The recovery of animal by-products reduces the amount of waste deposited in landfills and discharged into waste water treatment plants.
